The new inverted mechanism designed in collaboration with Josetxo Errondosoro is one of the main modifications of the new versions and allows a substantial improvement in the performance of the weapon. The materials are identical to the previous versions, but the cam-trigger position is inverted, that is, the trigger is in front of the cam, unlike in a conventional mechanism. The length of the cam has been increased to reduce the actuation force (per lever arm) and allow a gain in centimeters of rubber stretch. Now with the same weapon length, 8cm extra of stretching distance is achieved, which allows to have a reduced weapon with excellent maneuverability and a range equivalent to a rifle 8cm longer. The travel has been shortened slightly and the actuation force is also lower, which makes it even more sensitive than the standard model. The self-lubricating plastic of the trigger has a practically unlimited life. It is also very easy to mount on the weapon, as it is inserted from the top, and comes with a self-releasing thread-holding clip that does not interfere with the hardness of the operation.
